Not a gold selling site

You clicked on the link, didn't you? You thought it would be cute to click on the link, even though the column said you would get a keylogger when you went there.

This is why your inbox is full of spam and your account gets hacked, guys.

  3. Actually, I viewed the location that the link actually pointed to on the target bar at the bottom of my browser. I recognized the reputable site blogspot as the domain, in the familiar orientation of "blognamesubdomain.blogspot.com" and thought perhaps the site had relevant information.

    :-\

  4. No, actually, I clicked the link because the URL was to Blogspot. >.>

  5. Or, some of us moused-over the link out of curiosity and read what the actual URL was. And then clicked to see if there'd be an entertaining message.

    And there was. :D

... wait. This site doesn't -really- have a keylogger does it? Oh sh-

  9. I clicked because I saw that it led to a blogspot and I thought it would wind up being a Rickroll.

  15. Never gonna give you up... never gonna let you down... never gonna run around and desert you...

Never gonna make you cry... never gonna say goodbye... never gonna tell a lie and hurt you...

  16. If the link was on any site other than wow.com...
If the link went to a site not as reputable as blogspot.com ...
If the sense of humor of the writer wasn't anywhere near my own...

So many reasons to click the link that I'm more surprised at the lack of duck^H^H^H^Hrickroll than what the site had to say....

Curiousity may have killed the cat, but for a while I was a suspect (so to speak)

  19. Accually, I moused over the link and Firefox said it linked to lawbringer@blogspot before I even clicked. So I thought it was perhaps another article you did offsite. :D

  20. Yup. Wow.com just linked crap.garbage.c0m to stuff.blogspot. Checking links before you click on them works both ways, after all. I assumed it'd be an article making fun of the names of gold spammers. And making fun of gold spammers is *always* entertaining. ;p
